Stage 1 Paint Correction
Focuses on enhancement of the paint, the process is using one pad and one polish combination. This can remove very light swirl marks & holograms. This stage is used on paint that is in good condition and just needs a gloss enhancement or to remove light marring from a clay bar. This is also the minimum stage needed before applying ceramic coating.

Stage 2 Paint Correction
Focuses on paint that has moderate swirl marks and light scratches. This stage uses two pads, compound and polish. The first step is an abrasive cut using a compound removing the swirls and light scratches. Second step is the same process as the stage one to enhance the gloss after the cutting process.

Stage 3 Paint Correction
This Stage is designed for paint that has heavy swirl marks, scratches and other paint defects, it involves using 3 different polish and pad combinations, and this can also include spot wet sanding for heavier scratches. The first step is a heavy cutting compound with a heavy cutting pad to remove those deeper swirl marks and scratches. Followed after is the steps of stage 2 and then stage 1.
